House of Funk is the back unit of a mid-century duplex in Warm Sands, with its own gate, path and front door. It is a one-bedroom made for two, and designed to be looked at: bold colour, layered pattern, a penny-tile bar and vintage pieces. Swing the bookcase in the kitchen and the king bedroom is on the other side, with a dual-head shower.
Outside is all yours: the private pool, with the mountains behind it, the hot tub, the fire pit, the loungers and the swing. Downtown is about a mile away: a walk or a five-minute drive.

- Self check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 11 am. Your arrival guide comes 24 hours before.
- House rules
- Up to two guests (babies welcome too). No parties, no smoking, no glitter or balloons. Palm Springs quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am, with no music outside.
- City rules
- Palm Springs requires a copy of your ID and a signed copy of the city rules for every rental. We send a simple form before you arrive.
- Dogs
- One dog welcome ($80). Dogs stay out of the pool and hot tub, and can be left alone only if we agree beforehand. More for dog owners
- Cancellation
- Full refund up to 30 days before check-in, or within 24 hours of booking. 50% refund up to 7 days before. After that, no refund, but ask us about moving your dates.

Is the pool really private?
Yes. House of Funk is the back unit of a duplex, with its own gate, path, front door and backyard behind privacy walls. The pool, the hot tub and the fire pit are yours during your stay.
Can you heat the pool?
Yes, for $100 a day. Tell us when you book, and it will be warm when you arrive. The hot tub is always heated.
How far is downtown?
Warm Sands is minutes from downtown Palm Springs: an easy walk or a short ride. The airport (PSP) is about 5 minutes, and Joshua Tree National Park about 45.
Can we bring kids?
House of Funk sleeps two in one king bed, so it's made for couples. Babies are welcome. For a family trip, House of Kuna (sleeps 8) or House of Lemons (sleeps 6) has room for everyone.
Is there EV charging?
Yes, free: a Tesla Level 2 wall connector at your parking spot inside the gate.
