House of Kuna is secluded at the end of a cul-de-sac in the Yucca Valley hills, on 2.5 acres of boulders. Lit paths lead to the hot tub, the cowboy tub, a deck in the rocks and a hammock for sunset. Inside: three bedrooms (a king, a queen, and two queens), 2.5 baths, a fireplace, a full kitchen and a yoga studio.
It is built for a group: friends on a long weekend, a family trip, a birthday or an anniversary. Bring the dog too. Joshua Tree National Park is 20 minutes away, and Pioneertown and Pappy & Harriet's are 15. For a retreat or a shoot, ask us first; parties and events are not allowed.

- Self check-in from 4 pm, check-out by 11 am. Your arrival guide comes 24 hours before.
- House rules
- No parties or events, no smoking. Up to 8 guests overnight; daytime visitors by approval. Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am.
- Getting there
- You'll want a car. The lot is secluded on purpose: Joshua Tree National Park is 20 minutes, Pioneertown 15.
- Dogs
- Dogs welcome: $80 for the first, $50 for each additional, up to three. More for dog owners
- Cancellation
- Full refund up to 30 days before check-in, or within 24 hours of booking. 50% refund up to 7 days before. After that, no refund, but ask us about moving your dates.

How far is Joshua Tree National Park?
About 20 minutes to the West Entrance, and Pioneertown is 15. Black Rock Canyon, with the Warren Peak hike, is even closer. Our free desert guide has the rest.
Is it good for families and kids?
Yes. Kids and babies are welcome, and the house sleeps 8 across three bedrooms. The boulders are a natural playground, and the Discovery Trail in the park is made for kids.
Can we host a retreat, shoot or celebration?
Yoga retreats and creative groups love Kuna, but parties and events are not allowed. For a retreat or a shoot, tell us what you have in mind.
Is the hot tub heated? What is the cowboy tub?
The hot tub is heated and ready when you arrive. The cowboy tub is a big galvanized soaking tub on the deck, best at sunset.
Is there Wi-Fi and cell signal?
There's fast Wi-Fi in the house. Cell signal is good in Yucca Valley but drops to nothing inside the national park, so download maps before you go.
